HMA-Management Group 2004-2009

The Heads of Medicines Agencies (HMA) Management Group, as endorsed during the Irish Presidency in 2004, has as its main purpose the co-ordination and facilitation of the operation of HMA, and the supervision and management of the HMA Permanent Secretariat.

The current composition of the HMA Management Group is Kristin Raudsepp, State Agency of Medicines, Cristina Avendaño Solá, Agencia Española de Medicamentos y Productos Sanitarios, Patrick Dehaumont, Agence Francaise de Sécurité Sanitaire des Aliments and Johannes Löwer, Bundesinstitut für Arzneimittel und Medizinprodukte (BfArM) and Paul Ehrlich Institute, who is also the Chair of the group. The current Presidency is held by Sweden and is represented by Christina Åkerman, Christer Backman and Henrik Holst from the Medical Products Agency.
